Neuss, Germany, 5th February 2009 – Toshiba has today announced the expansion of its Camileo camcorder product range with the launch of the Camilio S10. The new 1080p high definition still and video camera is one of the slimmest and most light-weight camcorders currently available. With its stylish design and glossy midnight-blue finish, the Camileo S10 is ideally suited to style conscious individuals looking for a high-quality, lightweight video capturing device. The Toshiba Camileo S10 will be available in Q1/2009 throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.
“The Camileo S10 combines high quality video features with an extremely slim design at a very attractive price level”, says Marco Perino, General Manager EMEA PC options, Peripherals and Service Division, Toshiba Europe GmbH. “The Camileo S10 focuses on what many users demand; stylish design, high definition video quality and ease of use”.
In addition to its stylish glossy finish in midnight blue, the Camileo S10 catches the eye with its ultra-thin design, measuring 18 mm thick, 57 mm wide and 100 mm high. The camcorder is also extremely light, weighing just 120g, and fits easily into any pocket so it is available for quick recording anytime and anywhere.
The Camileo S10 is extremely easy to use and turns important moments into lasting memories, either as high definition 1080p video or as top quality 5MP photographs. Toshiba has also made it easier
to upload recorded videos to YouTube. After you edit your video and you are ready to share it, with just a click, they will instantly be uploaded on your YouTube account.
Thanks to its 1080p resolution, videos recorded on the Camileo S10 not only show up in brilliant high definition on the rotatable 2.5” TFT Display but also on any HD TV via the integrated High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) port, which allows users to replay clips in the highest quality without losing a single detail.
